Correction:

I have learned that the bereavement quilts the young women have been making are for the Tucson North Hospital and not the Willcox hospital.  The young womens leader has her babies quite fast and I had assumed she had gone to the Willcox ER. 

The social worker at the Tucson North Hospital says they would love any quilts for donation.  The young womens leader who grew up in the phoenix area said that they would make quilts all summer and donate them to the hospitals in the Phoenix area.

Berivement quilts

I just know i am mis-spelling the word Berivement...These quilts are given to mothers whose babies pass away.  Anyway....  My branch young womens leader approached me asking me to help the young women make these quilts for the hospital in Willcox.  I had never heard of such a thing.  We have 10 quilts in progress, but the girls are quite slow and other activities are scheduled inbetween.  In the mean time, the hospital has called and ask when these are going to be finished, because they really need them.

So I would pass the word along to my friends and sisters who follow my blog and see if any of you would like to help.

Boyd's Boy Scout Quilt on my design wall

When Romalea was here for Sheldon's wedding we worked on this quilt for Boyd. He has achieved the Eagle Scout award. Boyd is a serious scouter. All his eagle paperwork has been completed.

This quilt is in process. I love to make quilts that are seasonal that I can hang it on the wall in my office. I am going to machine quilt this one probably the way Red Pepper Quilts uses on a lot of her quilts

Adele and I made this quilt for Sheldon's Wedding. I love the batiks

I like to used wool batting but decided to try poly down. Everyone loves the custom qulting she used.

This is a panel that I handquilted for Christmas. It was supposed to be a wall hanging, but ended up being a small lap quilt. It looked nice on the back of my couch.
